My 30th is so close and untill now I dunno how I’d clebrate that day. As a mother, I really wanted a family-oriented celeb. I wanted something grand like travel, which involves a plane ride but hubs has this busy sched, so I really cannot go that far (yet) but once he gets his leave credits, I sure hope our family travels again.
As of the moment, I’m thinkin’ of a family trip to Baguio. I have been there several times as a kid. It has always been a “good, relaxin’ place” for me, I want my children to have the same experience. With Baguio in mind, I’m thinking of how we can go there without tiring the hubs in driving all the way to and back. So I’m also thinkin’ of alternatives like riding a bus (but then it would be hard to go around since we do not have our own transport when we get there.) or getting the services of a rent a car.
Since I’ve been to Baguio numerous times, I wanted a different feel to it this time; I’m calling this as “The Best of Baguio”. My kids have mixed feelings on this trip. Dyl is not really enthusiastic and wouldn’t want to go (makes me wanna bring her there more) since we’ve watched this creepy local horror film which casts Gabby Concepcion and that scares the hell out of her, on the other hand excites Zoe that further irritates Dyl. Hehehe…
I really like planning a lot, so far here’s what I have in mind:
- Take a family picture next to the Lion’s head (na mukhang Monkey)
- Go see the BenCab Museum
- Pick strawberries
- Dress up my kids in Igorot costumes (lol) sana mauto ko pa sila. Hahaha…
- Go see SM (na walang A/C)
- Asian Hot Spring (hidden hot springs in Baguio)
- Good Shepherd Convent (always a stopover for their peanut brittle and ube)
- Our Lady of Atonement (to hear mass)
Extras: (if time permits)
• Tam-Awan Village (for trekking – maybe we’ll pass)
• The Mansion (just for the heck of it)
• Easter Weaving Room
• Burnham Park (1st time for my kids)
• Mines View (1st time for my kids)
