Dyllan’s RockaParty February 18, 2010

Dyllan’s birthday was a blast. I woke up early and prepped the kids for Mass at 10am. Even before the mass the entrance of our clubhouse was already adorned by coin like drpaes that creates a nice kaleidoscope like rays from the sun’s glare.

Right after the mass, Jacq’s Team started setting up swags and balloon drops around the venue. Then came Verleo’s waiters, BaiCapture, ANF Team, Yan-Ple’s foodcart staff and then Symond.

All I have as of the moment are the pictures from our photobooth.

All our guests enjoyed the party, Wala akong narinig na panget or pintas or anything negative. That alone makes me feel good. Dyllan really enjoyed her day. Iba pala talaga pag 7th birthday, kasi na-eenjoy na nila. Zoe my son enjoyed Symond’s magic show, I think Symond liked my son too kasi bibo sya. hehehe… all pics are in my Facebook, here are some of my favorites:

Funny how life is February 3, 2010

Funny how life goes, sometimes you feel low (like my last post) and sometimes you feel ecstatic (like now) hehehe This is because Dyllan’s bday is nearing. 11 days to go to be exact.

I’m paying for everything supposedly (but then MIL offered P25k to help on the expenses – Thanks Mami!), Dar didn’t want a party for Dyl and wanted to go to HK instead but still I staged one up. Hehehe Matigas na ulong asawa.

I did not get a Party Planner. So far I’m cleared and paid with almost all except for Verleo’s balance and Yan-Ple’s. I did DIY on Invites, lootbag tags (and had my own concept of how the photo layout and backdrop will look like) they came in handy when BaiCapture did some drafts and I did not like it, I sent them mine and asked them to pattern it to what I did.

SG’ers are back! Xmas is in the air. November 16, 2009

The weekends came by quickly, I never had the chance to really prolong the “Rest” Days. There was again a miscommunication regarding class schedules that I had to come to work last saturday. After work, I went home, rested a bit then got ready to see and meet my friends at the nearby mall. I saw their pics from SG. Kainggit. they all had a nice time. Buti na lang di kami sumama. Their trip was not child-proof at all. We would have slowed them down if sumama kami. Will follow up pics. We talked about our XMas party plans. We got our pasalubongs from them too. We were planning on having a Xmas party somewhere but then we need to find a nice place first. I created an authorization letter for my aunt to sign for us to be guests at Tagaytay Highlands but stupid me, I forgot to ask her to sign yesterday at Gabe’s Bday. Gabe is my Aunt’s youngest sister’s Kid. Sugz, has been a childhood friend. Yesterday was Gabe’s 1 1/2 birthday celebration, they decided to celebrate it here for they were in Canada when he turned one. They wanted the typical filipino bday with pabitin and guests (even those kinds na sabit lang) When Gabe had his first bday in Canada, they just had a number of guests and it was not as fun. My kids really had a great time in all the games and activities, They had a clown, Brix and Friends, Dancing Transformer Robots, Shakeys Mascots plus a Magician. Napaisip tuloy ako if kulang pa ba yung sa bday ni Dyll for I only would have Symond as the party host and Magician, will ask the GT sisterettes for advise.

Dar and I are planning on pursuing our family trip by April or May this year. Hopefully it will push thru. Sana we can save up for it. I would want to celebrate my birthday in SG or in Thailand. Last Thursday (Nov 12) I was on Compli Leave, I asked for this to compensate for the need to come to work on a Saturday, it was timing as well for it’s the first day of Trinoma’s Geen Light Sale. Daddy, Mommy and I hitched a ride with Dar on his way to work. I was able to buy pants for work and jeans. treated my inlaws lunch at Contis, had Roast Beef, Baked Salmon, BlueBerry Cheesecake and the famous Mango Bravo. I also ordered at Contis for our Noche Buena food, I usually order from Albergus which is nearer. Last week, I also paid DP for Dyllan’s Bday Caterer. Getting there…

I feel bad blogging about one of my suppliers for Dyllan’s birthday. So unresponsive, I got her services for she’s known from what I read online. If only I have known and researched more, I could have gotten someone who’s more pro-client. I intentionally started planning for my daughter’s bday early for I have other things and events to plan for the upcoming season, and now, I’m left hanging. I informed all my suppliers that I’m settling everything early kasi ayoko na mg-isip. So all I’ll do is wait for the event on February.

I have been texting her since last week. I sent her emails too. Pero di sya sumasagot. I will definitely create a Supplier’s Rating after ng bday ng anak ko. It’s nearing November. I originally planned and assumed that hopefully by November I’m done with everything

I’m nowhere being done having her as one of my suppliers. Thing here is we don’t have a contract. I was thinking that because she’s quite known and has been in the business for quite sometime, she’ll be professional about everything. I thought she would have been sensitive enough to meet my requirements and for me to be done before Nov.

I hope to hear from hear soon. I already informed one GT member of my problem with her and they are good friends. I hope my message gets across.

I’m a strong advocate of WOM, I refer people to friends. I’ve proven this and a lot thank me for it. I have a large network. I’ll definitely not recommend her. Kainis talaga.

Party Boosters October 14, 2009

Jacque will be doing Venue decor and set-up for Dyll’s bday. I’m glad that things are going well for her party. After all my kulit emails to Jacque of Party Boosters. Jacque emailed me her quotation and details of the venue decor. As soon as I have free time today or within this week, I will deposit my payment to her account. Here are the details:

Customized Glitter package
1 pair of 6ft. balloon pillar for stage (mylar balloons on top)
6 sets of balloon strands for the entrance with bead curtains and silver cloth or paper to cover glass (10-12 balloons in a set)
5 centerpieces, no mylar
5 centerpieces with HM mylar topper
Swags for the ceiling, 2 or 3 colors
Swags for the stage as background of the tarp and in between the pillars

I’m really excited. I hope it’ll be a successful party.

I attended a party in the clubhouse earlier today. They have 12 tables set up and separate for kids, 30 i guess. It looked cramped. Panu pa kaya sa bday ni dyll. I have 120 adults din and food carts plus the photo booth pa. Sana maayos ng mabuti at di ganito kagulo. na-papanic mode na ako.

ANF & Yan-Ple September 22, 2009

I will be paying my remaining balance with Liby this friday. I will be also be paying for my balance with Yan-Ple’s foodcarts. Yey! konti na lang and I’m done. Nakakapagod pala mg-plan ng Bday. I hope Jacq emails me soon regarding the venue decor quotation. I’m a bit better now. I have a four-day class this week (till friday)

bday updates September 10, 2009

Yesterday, I was also at BDO to deposit down payments for Symond and ANF (Arts N Faces).

I browsed thru Liby’s multiply site again and was really impressed with what they did for the Globe Tattoo Broadband commercial- really impressive. I asked her baka pwede yun artists na yun ang i-assign sa party ko. She said that She’ll try to, but then I also would have to remind her because she usually would assign artists to a party 3-4 days before the event. I had to save that on to my calendar, Coz I might forget as well.

I texted Apple regarding my deposit, She’s out of the country and If I remembered correctly, She will be back tomorrow or so. I also sent her an email just now, just so she gets my message. I might add on to the food for the foodcarts. Im getting Ice Cream- 3 Flavor, (shempre me cheese-hubby’s favorite and chocolate-Zoe’s fav), Flavored Fries and Squid Balls-Fish balls and Kikiam ata.

I’m almost set and toxic free for my lil’ girl’s birthday Yey! I’m just waiting for Jacq’s final quote on the venue decors and what will be included on the customized package, So far here’s what she’s including:

Glitter Package for you (7k) and check mo if pasok sa budget mo.

1 pair of pillar for the stage
Bead curtains for the stage (parang pinaka-background nya yung bead curtains)
100 pcs. balloon drops for the ceiling
Swags rental, two colors
10 centerpieces, mylar design (Hannah montana design)
Long balloon strands for the entrance (4 sets, para syang balloon drops na mahaba. from taas nung glass door to the floor para may look na floating balloons sa labas. tapos lagyan na lang ng silver or gold na crepe paper to cover the glass para mukang concert like. )

let me know if ok pa. if gusto mo mas marami decors for the ceiling, we can remove the centerpieces and add it to the balloons drops.

I sent her a picture that I got from facebook, I saw a picture wherein they had a wedding in the same venue. It was just a sample na ayoko sana ng ganun. Parang inappropriate kasi. I can’t think of other ways on how to cover the windows of they venue. Here are the pics:

I’m happy that things are going well for our family these past few days. Nothing is inexplicably wrong or extremely beyond your control is present. Husband has a great paying job, and now has another (hopefully ) better offer. Kids are doing great in school, Di sayang ang binabayad namin. They’re very smart and growing up to be well mannered-citizens. A lot of people are impressed with them.
My husband and I are really proud, that even If we had kids early (both when we were 20) we were able to establish a good, stable family home for them.

Thank you God for everything! For a loving, understanding husband, a good provider and the Best Father any kid could wish for. I thank him as well for having smart and good kids. Thanks as well for having a financially rewarding job that I really enjoy doing. I am paid to do what I love most.

BaiCapture Photo Booth August 31, 2009

I really wanted something different and “uso” for Dyll’s bday souvenir. I researched, inquired about rates and asked for recommendations and the after so and so… I chose BaiCapture.  The owner Alvin Bailon is really nice. His assistant Caryl is also responsive when it comes to asnwering all my queries, Funny thing is right after I booked them, I was able to attend a wedding in Wack Wack and you guessed right. They were the photobooth suppliers.
