The month of May is dedicated to my bestfriend A. I guess, it’s because it’s her month – a well deserved one. She and K are going on several local trips and eat outs with friends and family since K has been out of the country for more than ten years.
However for our family, it’s the most magastos month ever. Our room TV conked out on us and Ate B had to get hers that we we’re left TV less for almost a week – can’t remember exactly how long. Hence we had to get a new one. Subscribed to cable TV too.
May is also Zoe’s birth month and we had long promised we’re getting him an Xbox, that’s it and no other extras. But then, like what usually happens, we still had unintentional dinners with family and friends. We kidded him that his birthday turned out to be a week-long celebration. The good thing about this though is I got them off online even just for a few hours and had them moving, since the console comes with Kinect sensor. We enjoy playing Dance Central 2 and Kinect Adventures. I have a long list of “to buy” games but would have to hold off on that first since there are so many others to prioritize. The Game CDs too are not cheap. P1,800-2,200/ea.
May is also the month before school starts and here we go pay tuition and other school-related needs. New uniforms, shoes, school supplies and books. My kids book sets cost P4-5k around P10k for both of them. Not cheap.
On top of the regular bills, I had to pay Yor and her reliever since Yor is on vaca to get married on Tues. We gave her money instead of a wedding gift. Yor comes back home on the 29th.
The biggest gastos of all is the new ride. Suddenly, I’m not that too excited after hubs told me how much he will be paying for DP. Oh well. But still thankful for all of God’s provisions for our family. Thanks po.
