MAYroon o Wala May 19, 2012

Filed under: Fwends for Life,My Family, My Life,Random Thoughts — abrilata @ 4:19 am

The month of May is dedicated to my bestfriend A. I guess, it’s because it’s her month – a well deserved one. She and K are going on several local trips and eat outs with friends and family since K has been out of the country for more than ten years.

However for our family, it’s the most magastos month ever. Our room TV conked out on us and Ate B had to get hers that we we’re left TV less for almost a week – can’t remember exactly how long. Hence we had to get a new one. Subscribed to cable TV too.

May is also Zoe’s birth month and we had long promised we’re getting him an Xbox, that’s it and no other extras. But then, like what usually happens, we still had unintentional dinners with family and friends. We kidded him that his birthday turned out to be a week-long celebration. The good thing about this though is I got them off online even just for a few hours and had them moving, since the console comes with Kinect sensor. We enjoy playing Dance Central 2 and Kinect Adventures. I have a long list of “to buy” games but would have to hold off on that first since there are so many others to prioritize. The Game CDs too are not cheap. P1,800-2,200/ea.

May is also the month before school starts and here we go pay tuition and other school-related needs. New uniforms, shoes, school supplies and books. My kids book sets cost P4-5k around P10k for both of them. Not cheap.

On top of the regular bills, I had to pay Yor and her reliever since Yor is on vaca to get married on Tues. We gave her money instead of a wedding gift. Yor comes back home on the 29th.

The biggest gastos of all is the new ride. Suddenly, I’m not that too excited after hubs told me how much he will be paying for DP. Oh well. But still thankful for all of God’s provisions for our family. Thanks po.

What’s up, What’s up cyber friends, It’s Friday and I’m at home and I’m on leave again. Talk about looong weekends. Tee hee :D

Here’s what I did for the week:

Mar 2- Last day of class.

Mar 3 & 4 – Stayed home, avoided the malls at all costs. There was a three-day sale. I just know myself too well. Hah! saved some pesos there. Gave myself not just a pat on the back but a pat on the head like a dog. lol.

Mar 5 – Hubs and I are on leave from work. We had a SPA bonding session. Swedish body massage with Ventosa and Thai foot massage at Nuat Thai in Pearl drive. Super sulit. I wanted to buy their Ginger tea but they said it’s not for sale. We initially wanted to try Wensha but I’ve read some not so nice feedback and first hand experiences from office friends that I decided to pass. Wanted to try the SPA next time.

– Met with in-laws after our massage and we had dinner with them.

Mar 6, 7 & 8 – back to work.

Mar 9 – That is today, Yey!

Mar 10- Tomorrow is Rich’s 7th birthday and I’m excited to see my old friends and their families – Chams, Ags and Curly.

I’ve been wantin’ to blog since I’ve had lunch with a good friend, but it has been a tight week at work and I’m flat out like a lizard drinkin’ when I reach home. Oh I’ll definitely miss mah fwend. It’s seldom you meet TRUE people you can TRUST and TREASURE. I wish my friend luck, peace and all the good things I could think of. We did not say goodbye, just ’till we meet again… (soon enough for sure).

Here’s to all the crazy, wacky things we did. Thanks for all the happy moments. I know we’ll have more but then again it would be less without you around. Take Care and God bless!

SG’ers are back! Xmas is in the air. November 16, 2009

The weekends came by quickly, I never had the chance to really prolong the “Rest” Days. There was again a miscommunication regarding class schedules that I had to come to work last saturday. After work, I went home, rested a bit then got ready to see and meet my friends at the nearby mall. I saw their pics from SG. Kainggit. they all had a nice time. Buti na lang di kami sumama. Their trip was not child-proof at all. We would have slowed them down if sumama kami. Will follow up pics. We talked about our XMas party plans. We got our pasalubongs from them too. We were planning on having a Xmas party somewhere but then we need to find a nice place first. I created an authorization letter for my aunt to sign for us to be guests at Tagaytay Highlands but stupid me, I forgot to ask her to sign yesterday at Gabe’s Bday. Gabe is my Aunt’s youngest sister’s Kid. Sugz, has been a childhood friend. Yesterday was Gabe’s 1 1/2 birthday celebration, they decided to celebrate it here for they were in Canada when he turned one. They wanted the typical filipino bday with pabitin and guests (even those kinds na sabit lang) When Gabe had his first bday in Canada, they just had a number of guests and it was not as fun. My kids really had a great time in all the games and activities, They had a clown, Brix and Friends, Dancing Transformer Robots, Shakeys Mascots plus a Magician. Napaisip tuloy ako if kulang pa ba yung sa bday ni Dyll for I only would have Symond as the party host and Magician, will ask the GT sisterettes for advise.

Dar and I are planning on pursuing our family trip by April or May this year. Hopefully it will push thru. Sana we can save up for it. I would want to celebrate my birthday in SG or in Thailand. ;) Last Thursday (Nov 12) I was on Compli Leave, I asked for this to compensate for the need to come to work on a Saturday, it was timing as well for it’s the first day of Trinoma’s Geen Light Sale. Daddy, Mommy and I hitched a ride with Dar on his way to work. I was able to buy pants for work and jeans. ;) treated my inlaws lunch at Contis, had Roast Beef, Baked Salmon, BlueBerry Cheesecake and the famous Mango Bravo. I also ordered at Contis for our Noche Buena food, I usually order from Albergus which is nearer. Last week, I also paid DP for Dyllan’s Bday Caterer. Getting there…

Mission Accomplished.

Bes is back – again October 19, 2009

I got a good AM greet from Annie bear; I asked her if she’s back, and yes she is. Funny I was at the pantry earlier today and I heard someone was referred to as “Babaeta” – made me silently laugh for I was reminded of someone, my friends and I used to mock, I was reminded that just yesterday, I was in church to reflect. So I offered a silent prayer for forgiveness. Babaeta was nick we used back then to call schoolmate who was dark in and out.for us it siimply signifies babaeng Aeta, Lol dark skinned plus a dark attitude kind of person. Oh well, to my silent lurkers, she’s the same girl from my previous entry, she goes by the name Ms. Laitera too. Hehehe those were the days. I think she’s a changed person now. (I just hope so) For I see that in her FB posts that she tends to post biblical scriptures, hahaha. Sana lang it’s enough to compensate for all the things she has done then. :P

Hearing the “Babaeta” seemed like in time to see my gurls. Not really to waste time talking about her (babaeta) nonsense-self but to catch up on “us friends”. I’ll miss them. I’m the only one not going to SG with them on Nov. Hehehe. I hope to see them before they leave.

“So-called perfect” Ms. Prim Kuno and Ms. Laitera October 13, 2009

Filed under: Fwends for Life — abrilata @ 11:22 pm

It’s funny to learn a lot (chismis) from friends. Hehehe… one in particular was from a group who then considered themselves as “highly elite” all of them are beautiful (feeling lang nila) they made fun and comment on those who are “not as beautiful or elite as them” I had my share of “Duh” moments from them, provoking me, pero di ko pinatulan. It’s a long funny comical situation why I got involved. Ang nakakatawa, di naman sila mala-diyosa but they criticize people. Siguro kasi we were young then and sila na yung mga marunong mg-ayos and into boys na talaga. Unlike the rest of us na makukulit pa.

I really hate two people in particular from their so-called group. These two are the bitches of all, meanest of the mean. Magkasabwat sa pamimintas ba, siguro one was just influenced by the “dark” one. She’s pretty pa naman. Pero wag ka she’s mega laitera. hahaha… Funny thing is a common friend dated her and this guy is the kiss and tell type. Kadiri to know stuff about her. Ewww talaga. Siguro If I spill the beans. No Guy would take a serious interest on her… So who’s Miss Prim and Proper Now? Looks can really be deceiving, Virginal beauty kasi ay kuno.

Now to Laitera no. 2 – I learned stuff about her, stuff she did, escapades, mga patagong lihim ke husband (She’s married now, recently gave birth) Ms. Prim kunwari her friend spilled the beans in one drinking session, siguro just to get the limelight, binenta yung so-called BF nya (Laitera 2). The thing here is, madaming diff sets of friends sa drinking session na yun. Katawa their friendship. Lalo na if I see their FB messages and posts. Super friends talaga sila. baka nga pareho silang ngsisiraan eh. Natatawa lang ako. Hahaha. I pity Laitera 2. tsk tsk tsk… If Only I’m nice enough, sabihan ko sya. Sabihin ko, anu ka ba, kala mo ba super friends kayo? sya nga ngakakalat ng baho mo eh. Hahahaha…

How Pathetic. :P

I’m glad I have the right group of friends. I LOVE THEM!!! :) :) :)
